The SureMountain construction management functions include but not limited to the following in most instances:
SureMountain manage projects efficiently using construction management software to control and manage the vast amount of information associated with complex projects. When managing a portfolio of projects these tools help to ensure planning is efficient and on time.
By investing in appropriate construction management software, operational problems in project delivery will not become history, there will always be challenges. They are an excellent “systems of record” for large capital projects and they offer real-time information and analytics to inform not only our internal process but to give our clients appropriate feedback.
We use construction management software to enhance transparency with clients, using the reporting functionaility, scheduling, daily log and more. SureMountain involve clients within the project process in a comprehensive way to ensure targets are met and satisfaction is delivered.
SureMountain carefully plan each stage of the construction management process and implement client specific projects to maximise efficiency and results.
The design stage includes programming and feasibility, schematics, design evolution, contractual agreements and adherence to all building regulations.
The client gives a notice to proceed and the project manager contract administrator, field engineers and support staff commence work on the project process.
As part of the pre-construction stage, a site investigation is required to discover if any additional steps need to be implemented. Site preparations need to be undertaken prior to the commencement of construction. Unforeseen circumstances such as historical artifacts or environmental issues need to be considered problems.
The procurement stage is when appropriate resources are purchased including labour, materials and other associated equipment. Specialist contractors are also sourced.
The construction stage begins with a pre-construction meeting to make decisions regarding work hours, material storage, quality control and site access.
As part of the entire project management process SureMountain make considerable efforts to minimize the issues resulting from construction and implement appropriate contingencies. Some of the issues include the following:
When construction vehicles are driving around a site or moving earth, a lot of dust is created, especially during the dryer months. SureMountain implement appropriate dust control measures to minimize the movement of dust within and out of the construction site.
Soil can be displaced as a result of the construction which can possibly cause environmental problems. Runoff can occur during rain which may transfer harmful pollutants through the soil to rivers, lakes, wetlands, and coastal waters.
If endangered species are on the construction site, the site must be shut down for as long as it takes for authorities to make a decision on the situation. SureMountain make the appropriate accommodations for the construction moving forward.
There maybe trees or other vegetation that must be protected on the construction site. This may require fences or security tape to keep the area protected. SureMountain plan for such occurrences within our project management solutions.
SureMountain make adaptations so erosion and water flow are not affected by the construction project. Any liquid spills will be appropriately managed to avoid contaminants entering the wetland and subsequently disrupting procedures.
Artifacts such as arrowheads, pottery shards and bones maybe within the construction site area. SureMountain stop all work if any artifacts are found and will not resume until these items can be examined and removed where applicable.
